They never should have put in the health globes.
I'm not sure it is possible to die in normal mode, at least in the Beta. I didn't use a single potion despite trying repeatedly to get myself killed out of boredom.

Blood Raven was a bitch in D2, the difficulty ramped up quickly in that game.

So now the fact that a game isn't a cakewalk and has different difficulty settings is a huge selling point.

I think the health globes are actually a good idea. They just have the balance wrong.
It's certainyl better than the old system where you spent 75% of your time on higher difficulties running away while waiting for your constantly-popped health potions to tick you back to full so you can land three more hits and then run away again.

health globes make the game too easy. They need to lower the drop rate
