Why should the US Meddle with Syria?

When dictators stop bombing their own people? I'm hoping Obama is smart enough to already have special forces in Syria, their primary job is training indigenous fighters.

There are so many reasons for the US to meddle in the internal affairs of any country without nukes and easily able to defend itself.
Democrats meddle for reasons of compassion
Conservatives meddle for nebulous reasons of national security

Dictators kill their own people all the time, especially the ones the US supports or historically supported

The US isnt against dictatorships at all. China mistreats and murders many of its own people yet the US is happy to do business with them. Same with Saudi Arabia. Both are evil nations run by horrible people but the US is happy to do business with both of them.

As much as we want to save the world from dictators, our focus on problems outside the USA leads to a belief we are alright. Restated the problem is believing their is a problem outside the US, which if we battle makes us better. This is similar to a homophobic person having closeted homosexual desires openly railing against homosexuals. The concept: If it is OUT there , then it is NOT in here.
Although we are not openly bombing our own people, and we do not have a dictator, we have a power core in the USA which exploits its people economically in a similar way as a dictator usurps his power. People are dying in the USA, they are just dying of different causes- causes not as openly hostile, but every bit as deadly. We may look at many examples: healthcare delivery, the foreclosure -debt process, who gets the jobs?

Yep the US has so many problems which is has no solution for like the huge national debt yet it still thinks it can meddle constantly with other nations to fix them. The US needs to fix its own problems
True the situation is Syria is bad but its their problem. The US shouldnt get involved in the internal politics of so many nations.
