You then kick his ass.

The next day, the same guy raises his fist and punches you in the face. You then kick his ass.

Then the next day, the guy raises his fist yet again and punches you in the face. You then kick his ass.

On the fourth day when the guy raises his fist you just go ahead and kick his ass because you know exactly what's coming.

Does this seem unreasonable? Do you really have to wait until you get punched in the face before you deliver the ass kicking?

This is the situation Israel is in. They've been punched in the face so many times they know exactly what's coming when their neighbors raise their fists.

By punching you in the face are you referring to the rocket attacks or their Israeli homes getting bulldozed for Palestinian settlements?

Israel has no need for formalities, but yet they feel obligated to carry on with them anyways.

The irony is that the Jews were kicked out by the Romans for being total spazs back in the day. It wasn't even the first time they self pwned to the point of being expelled from their own lands.

So whatevs. As to Israel, national politics suck. That region of the world in particular is filled with stubborn, stupid, angry morons. If you go back far enough every country has some right to grievance with lots of other peoples. most people can get along. these guys can't and for the most part for really stupid reasons.

I don't care what Israel does TBH. Acting like there is more or less justification is irrelevant to me at this point. both sides have sufficient justification to do whatever they want, and the capacity to do what is best.
