The CIA is currently running radio ads in Chicago, recruiting for Covert Ops applicants.

It's kinda comical.

Sounds like a great way to Bait and Switch out some fresh canon fodder for the Iran War!

"Well son, you didn't quite make the CIA cut, but take this rifle and put on this green hat and stand over there with the other cattle instead, soldier!"

Well, taking a look over here: https://www.cia.gov/careers/opportunities/cia-jobs/index.html

It looks like the CIA hires for a huge variety of jobs, so I was thinking more like a bait and switch to get folks into covert dishwasher agent and covert trash sorting agent, stuff like that.

My aunts married to CIA agent, I asked him "Are you really allowed to say that" and he said "Sure I can say I'm from CIA, but if you ever learned what I do there I'd have to get you a nice room from Guantamo Bay"

It later turned out he has pretty overt desk job watching international money flows...cool guy!

The CIA is a huge bureaucratic agency that's been around a long time. The 'sexy' part of the agency is a pretty insignificant representation of all the things they actually do.

Now, No Such Agency - that's a different story. They are downright spooky.
