I dont think they failed at life, I sometimes think that life has become to easy for the folks who want the apococlypse, they want the sturggle to give life meaning again....but that is jsut a thought on my part.

I don't know about wishing for it but God promised us new and perfect eternal bodies in which we will live with him in paradise forever. Perhaps that is why?

Because they see how things will be and can't see any way other than the destruction of all of it in order to honor a time when art was interesting and music inspired. I vote total destruction via asteroid. 60,000mph mountain hitting earth would be a fast, painless end for everyone.
