I am picturing living in some little cottage on a mountainside in the Alps and waking up on a beautiful spring morning and sitting down to my breakfast beer...

sadly, i wont ever even get my brew pub opened to be able to serve locally.

the american dream no longer exists unless its your dream to be someone else's wage slave for the remainder of your life.

for simple, used brewing equipment id be looking at $400k. that would supply 7 barrels a week. maybe 14 if i squeezed it and lowered quality a little.
another couple hundred $K for basic kitchen equipment, cold storage for grains, hops, yeast, and food stuffs.
and i still dont even have a building or land to do all this in yet...
minimum 2 months time before i can open the doors and easily hundreds of gallons of wasted beer before i get all the brewing equipment dialed in. so lost wages and supplies....

maybe some day ill win the lotto and be able to open my brewpub.
or some rich guy will hand me a cool mil for holding the door for his hot wife
