Rush Limbaugh does exactly what he is there to do: Get people to listen his show and his network. Half of his listening audience are shidiot liberals who hate him so much, who get SO angry at him that they just can't stop themselves from listening to the manure spill from his fat face on a daily basis. Love him, hate him or ignore him, he is probably the best at what he does.
