I remember back a few that when one of the southern governors said something about not taking federal dollars for something and when a disaster struck he took some and people here screamed he was a hypocrite. Now another one is scolded for sticking to his guns?
Seems you can't win for losing. You are going to get scolded one way or the other.

If you have a stupid ideological position...that all Federal money is evil, for example, pretty much whatever you do will come across as either stupid or hypocritical. Liberals are just pointing that out.

2010 was a watershed year for stupidity in politics.
On a more hopeful note, another article from the same site posted later in the day says that he may reconsider, so there's still time for him to be called a hypocrite!
