Anyone do this? I just got the game a month ago and I'm thinking of trying it. I've looked at a couple of boreds but most of the people seem to be speaking a different language when discussing SC2 multiplayer. is it really complicated?

I liked playing in co-op games against the comp.


I was never into 1 v 1.


I tried their DOTA but it was meh.


Overall I didn't play it as much as I thought I would.

On its surface it is not complicated, it is designed so anyone can go in and play. The matchmaking system will ensure that you mostly play with other people on your level.

However, competitive SC2 is huge and people make livings playing it. It is supremely complicated at the top level with many layers of strategy. However, unless you are very very good at it and intend to put a great deal of time in to it you will never do more than brush up against that stuff.

Hola carp how do you make a living at it?

I typically do poorly in multiplayer RTS games. I am the type who likes to sit back, build my base, mine my resources, purchase my upgrades, build my army and then go for all out total war. I usually get pwned into oblivion by people who send out single units or tiny squads to constantly harass me over and over again. It's why I sucked at Travian too

By winning tournaments that offer prize money and by becoming famous enough to attract sponsors.

Go to Korea for a few years and play pro, second largest sport there after Football... Largest e-sport in the world.
