One would think Gnosticism would be gaining popularity as well. Gnostics believe there are two worlds and two Gods, God who created Spiritual world and Satan who created material world and that by that definition, flesh itself is sin and only way to get salvation is by dying...to them Luke was the most important of Jesus's disciples because he helped Jesus to ascend from Satans shackles...the whole religion seems to encourage people to off themselves.

Maybe the fact that Gnostics believed that submitting yourself to any physical pleasure is worshipping Satan made the Catholics win.

That's not even close to what Gnostics believe.

What is happening is in the civilized world men are being feminized to the point that they wear makeup and get custom made underwear.

jesus was a social revolutionary.
his dieing on the cross was roman for todays suicide by cop over attention to a cause.

the catholics turned him into a prophet and mythological being of the supernatural.

Not going so well in Iraq.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/emos-iraq-killed-alarming-rate-thought-gay-article-1.1037389

BAGHDAD -- Young people who identify themselves as so-called Emos are being brutally killed at an alarming rate in Iraq, where militias have distributed hit lists of victims and security forces say they are unable to stop crimes against the subculture that is widely perceived in Iraq as being gay.

Officials and human rights groups estimated as many as 58 Iraqis who are either gay or believed to be gay have been killed in the last six weeks alone - forecasting what experts fear is a return to the rampant hate crimes against homosexuals in 2009. This year, eyewitnesses and human rights groups say some of the victims have been bludgeoned to death by militiamen smashing in their skulls with heavy cement blocks.
