With Iran putting sanctions on them might have the opposite effect. Now the world banking community made it impossible for Iran to transfer money electronically

The Oil for Food debacle showed that there will always be corrupt people willing to help someone selling crude incredibly cheaply.

Nice thought but it is so much easier to sell to a crooked refiner, you would probably get caught when you appeared on Pawn Stars trying to sell your oil.
