I've never once had it give me any information before the package arrived.
Is there anything they do right?

Never mind, I was thinking UPS.
USPS rarely provides much information, but unless your package is registered or insured, it's not being tracked.

They track the entry point, but that's about it. Or at least that's what they used to do. They might track it along the way, but their tracking information would seem to indicate otherwise.

Their tracking seems to work, but it isn't updated properly.
If you call and give them the number, they can find the package for you, which kinda defeats the purpose of being able to look it up online and have up-to-the-minute reports.

It gives a lot of information to amazon.com at least, I am not sure why I get more information from amazon but get less information when looking up the tracking number on USPS.com itself
