One of the reasons why the internet is such a threat to the governments of the world is because it removes so much of the mystery about other people.
The more interconnected the average people of the world become the harder it will be to manipulate them against each other because they will be less dependent on the government and media corporations for information.
This takes control of the narrative out of their hands. People of the world are learning we aren't so different after all.
