My ipod died on me a few months back. Luckily my sister had an old one she wasn't using anymore that she gave me. Problem is the battery doesn't really hold a charge (it's old) and the model is so old that it doesn't support Nike+iPod, which I use to track my daily runs (distance, calories burned, average mile times, etc etc). Needless to say, I need to get a new iPod. Next month (April) my cell phone is also due to an upgrade. Common sense would dictate that I just wait a few days and buy an iPhone. Here's where the first world problem comes in....
I hate Apple. The only reason I am considering a new ipod is the nike+ipod. I don't want an iPhone, although it'd be easier.
I'm sure no Haitians have this problem. Suckers.

if you don't want an ipod/iphone, just get the nike+ sport watch:

although i think it would be cheaper to just get an iPod nano.

I like the Nano plus a wrist band thing that makes the nano just like a watch while I run. I've considered all of those. One of my buddies said to use the mapmyrun app on Android as well. It'd be easier if there was a nike+samsung or something. The closest is a 1gig phone that is like adidas+samsung, but it costs $600 lol

If you want a dedicated running watch, get something like the Garmin Forerunner.

It's not that I want a watch. The nike+ipod app keeps track of my time and distance traveled. The problem is I need a new ipod and a new cell phone but I don't want an iphone. I just don't like Apple. But there's no other option and nike+ipod is really really nice. The watch you mentioned is really cool but the music is helpful too.
