Its in the sticks, 15 acres for about 18k undeveloped..

Im considering it as something to get now and work on over the years till its ready for me to retire on... property taxes are like 150 dollars a year as it is right now, pond, creek, lots of hardwood fish and game..

No utilities in the area, but septic and well are possible to have done... just electric would be an issue but considering I wont be living there till 15-20 years down the road electric could be an option by then, and in the short term I would only be camping there while I worked on it or just got away for a weekend...

What do you knuckle heads think..

id take it and work on acquiring more of the surrounding area.
15 acres is decent but not really a whole lot. when i was a kid a friend of mine had 13 acres that we used to play paintball on.
it was nice but not really what i think of when i think hunting shack in the woods or quite fishing hole.

and wtf do you need electric for?
charge yer cellymaphone in your car and build a bigass fire for light till you get drunk and pass out.

piss in the bushes.

15 acres of hardwood is worth a lot more than $18k.

Buy it and sell the timber harvest.

If you have the money to spend it's always good to have land.

If I had the money I'd buy land surrounding the fastest growing areas in the country and just sit on it.

Maybe farm pine trees or something on it until someone wanted to buy it.
