Bonk said he had to lock his cat out of the bedroom because it would climb on him and demand attention while he was trying to sleep. I thought that kind of odd.

Well my wife told me the other day that when she gets up to go to work (4am) one of the three cats would be on top of me whining. I'm a sound sleeper so I never know that. All I know was the three are waiting on the bed for me when I wake up. Thing is; they are not the little light kittens they use to be. Getting to be some big suckers.

My dogs have always, for some reason, sat in chairs. They do everything in chairs, sleep, eat... most of their day is them sitting in chairs around the house. When I lived at my parents house I used to put a chair next to my bed and I used to be really bad at being able to sleep so when I'd wake up i'd wake up to my dog either sleeping or sitting in the chair looking right at my panting

Was almost kind of creepy now that I think about it. I love my dogs

In reverse order:

Dogs sit on couches or xchairs because - ta da! - they can then see through windows.

Cats sit on youn in the morning because -ta da! - you are supposed to lock them out of the bedroom OR be their slave.

I wouldnt do that if I had regular hours but I need every minute of sleep I can get. She will run into my room, jump on me, and meow loudly in my ear to try to wake me up. At first when I locked her out she would scratch on the door and loudly yowl. I fixed that by tossing water on her. Now occassionally she will yowl outside my door but now even the threat of water makes her shutup.

I had this dog for a long time that was too smart for his own good. He knew he was not to go on the chair. When we were home he was good and never even tried. I knew he was on the chair because we could come home and it would be rocking, with him sitting on the floor looking like, "Me on the chair? You must be mistaken."
