Security fixes. For some reason, Adobe seems to be the quickest route to wtfpwn your system these days.
Disable updates and do it manually every month or so. And while you're at it, get FoxIt and make it your default PDF viewer.

Its funny.. They update a lot. How can there be so many security holes?
The updates make adobe look incompetent.
