Both my VN accounts, on two different emails, are not even recognized by the new login system.
Might be wandering off into the wilderness outside IGN sooner than I thought, if they make this too difficult for me...

when they first started using the IGN login, I couldn't login for like a year. The VN system was so much better stand alone.

They banned me from the IGN site completely.
It's only a matter of time for them to find out I hacked into with this account.

I've never earned a ban over on IGN. (I think I've ever made one post, total, on the IGN side. I could log in and see my status for a long time. Although I haven't been able to see my post count/status over there for months now).
Now, whether they somehow mistakenly banned me, who knows.

I have two accounts, this one and jackie chiles. Both were attached to work e-mail addresses. I do not work at either company anymore so I do not have access to either e-mail account (the one I switched to for this account is actually no longer in business).
I feel pretty confident that this account will go poof once the merge happens and i will have to re-register. I already tried changing e-mail addresses once and it didn't work.

Sorry to hear that Ash. I have access to both my emails, so that ain't it.
And, the 2 different email addys have two different VN account names.

I only did it to keep Dumblewhore out of my business. She had access to other e-mails and I had already found one keylogger on my desktop so the only way to be sure I was keeping her out was to change the e-mail address associated with the accounts to work e-mail addresses. I never even considered that I might one day want to change the e-mail accounts again.
What sucks is that there is a way to change the e-mail account associated with the VN account without logging into the e-mail address itself, it just doesn't fucking work. If you try it (I did) instead of doing what it's supposed to do it sticks you with one of those "gamer1158weasdfa78aser624" accounts. Lame.
