Greets
It's been a long while and I am finally back on DAoC after I got a group of buddies to come along with me. Turned up high, the graphics are fine with me and at least right now the nostalgia factor is keeping me alright. I've noticed a lot has changed and after talking with a few people, it sounds like some classes are just plain... beat and/or broken... and are ones that I want to avoid these days.
Can someone give me a breakdown of what, if any classes, are ones to avoid for being affective and desired in RvR? I am either going to play Mid or Hib primarily (leaning towards the former) so any help would be great. I look forward to seeing ya'll when I hit 50.

If you want to get (visible) groups, avoid the following:
- mauler
- archers
- assassins

Warrior, Skald, Healer, Shaman, Runemaster, are good choices for Mid classes. Also if you like tanks, don't be afraid to try a Berserker, Savage, or Valkyrie. Youre likelihood of finding groups for those 3 tanks is roughly in that order. As for casters, Bonedancer and Warlock are also not bad choices.

Run a 3-man with your buddies.
Skald, zerk, valk
You'll thank me later.
Also - all 3 are good for groups.
