Noticed the same lag when doing instanced zones like TDs so it seems to be across the board server issue and not zone based. As others said makes the game almost unplayable as so much is based on timing.

Start creating Lag theads so that is all that shows on here and maybe they will get the hint.

The increased lag, for the most part, was due to the DF event/quests where just about everyone flooded into the tiny little zone of DF. DF crashed during the 8pm est event on Thursday. And it didn't get any better after that. That zone isn't meant to handle that number of people.

I think you will see the lag back to normal 1-3sec with the event gone.

They still need to fix it though. The lag in zones not including NF has been bad for some time now.

At this point I almost wonder if it may be a horrendous memory leak.


I either have no lag (rare but it has happened here and there) or the lag/ghosting is so bad that it is a chore to play the game in any fashion.


I remember people calling me crazy about rune priests being broken internally at release of WAR...turns out their master runes did in fact cause a memory leak. So we know it could be possible
