Would there be any way to get the classic chat window back? I despise the new ones. I've been searching for about 30 minutes and I am unable to find any information on this.

Nope. Hard coded. You can change the appearance with skins but you can't change how it functions.

You get used to them, just like you did the old one. The new ones offer way more customization then the old one did. Change isn't always bad.
