My question Why can't maulers have charge? They are horrible to group with even when I get reassured they are "good" maulers. Would this imbalance the game? Discuss

No it would not imbalance the game. If they can randomly give savages charge, I think that it is a good change to get people playing maulers.

i think Maulers should be redesigned from the ground up. or just deleted, they're pretty stupid as is. I dunno why they decided to make another class similar to the vamp, I guess cuz albs and mids were not happy so they got their own little mini vamp class, but it sucks anyways. I think they should look at what type of a hybrid melee class can be beneficial to all 3 realms while not overtaking the role of other classes that are already used in groups.

like, forget about this casting during combat thing and a power pool that goes up when fighting so you can use all your cheesy abilities but not be able to use them otherwise. It just doesn't work in DAOC imo. Maybe a better idea would have been to make something similar to what all 3 realms currently have as hybrid heavy tanks. Then again i think this is a hard task to accomplish, to make it group worthy without screwing over a different class.

No charge, but IMO they do need Stoicism or a new class ability to help them deal with CC.
