as someone who just resubed a couple days ago

the bgs are awesome
the leveling up process is alot more fun (faster)

i still havent quite figured out the whole new ml/champ/dragon stuff

frontiers is an exercise in frustration being solo.
i dont know anyone in game anymore so im kind of stuck soloing.
i suppose you could find a group, but it depends what your playing.

i solod in the frontiers for about 4 hours on 2 different toons.

bainshee = walk 50 ft away from a keep and get stuck with 4 arrows. insta dead
shadowblade = run around stealthed for 2 hours. if you do see someone visible they are running by at spd 6 and you cant catch them. twice i was shot out of stealth by an archer from 50ft away (i have mos4). 1st guy killed me in id say 3 seconds or less. 2nd guy zephyrd me and killed me in which case i couldnt do anything.

so about 4 hours running around solo. never even attacked anyone and died about 5 times.

As a new player it will be a steep learning curve when you get to the end game

After 10 years there are alot of people with alot of time/money invested into some of their characters which are built to dominate

You will have a hard time with these people when you're low rank/experience etc but once you start to build up some knowledge of the game mechanics, build friends etc it will get a bit easier

When I first started playing I watched alot of videos of players and took notes from the good/bad things that were going on and tried to nail them myself. Even now I'm still learning

im having alot of fun.

i dont think ill be doing any hardcore 8man groups like i used to, but im adjusting to a more laid back playstyle.
i just cant dedicate the time or energy into this game like before.

theres always people in the bgs and keeps change frequently.

the population kinda reminds of the early days.
everyone being on 1 cluster means theres plenty of people everywhere.

a couple people in game have been very helpful with trying to figure out the new things also.

BG's are great.. until I returned and found out they nerfed how gear effects your level....there went 4-6 toon that while not totally 'tricked out' did well-even with pots as my only buffs-in the BG's..

so that sucked

to the OP I'd stick to the BG's; NF as a solo is not fun..
