how to search vn boards

So I have tried the 'search' button and entered some keywords and chose daoc general boards.
when I hit the search button I get a page that says an error occured and a message has been sent to the staff.
when I use the text input box and hit enter, nothing changes the posts are the exact same as just going to the board, sorted by latest post first.
does search not work on these boards?

I recall experiencing the same thing. since then i use a web search and add vnboards to the search paramaters

Use google with site:vnboards.ign.com
E.g. http://www.google.co.uk/#q=corfel+site%3Avnboards.ign.com
