I am returning to DAoC for a quick fix. Which Ywain server do I transfer to?

yes but your choice will impact what server you get a house on.

If you want the ability to purchase a house, then you want a less populated server so you can get a better lot easier. If you know you'll never want a house, then it doesnt matter. I think there are 3 recommended servers based on lower population, prolly just go with one of those. Thats what I would do.
Of course there's always Mordred...

Hi and welcome back to Daoc. 
When I came back a month ago, I transfered to Ywain 9 and 10. I had no trouble finding houses in the main house zone in the villages near the main market.
I would suggest transferring to Ywain 6-10 just to be sure.
