Hiya,
Message is as follows when I try to install Decal:
"The installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid installation package"

upgrade your Windows Installer Service to the latest version?
(Do you run Windows 98? Because I don't think Win98 has an upgrade for the Windows Installer)

also, what version of decal are you trying to install? make sure that your download is complete.
for example, decal-alpha5b.msi is supposed to be 2,677,248 bytes. if yours is smaller then your download is truncated and you should download again.
