When I had my mule remove a Doppleganger shield from a chest tonight, Quest Timer posted the following:

The mule in question is level 26. Unfortunately I did not have other quest items for her to pick up to see if it would trigger another message.

It sounds like it's working perfectly ("it's not a bug, it's a feature!" ).


Unfortunatley the quest trigger is probably too general for that quest; it triggers whenever you pick up the Doppleganger Shield. How do you usually obtain the Doppleganger shield? Is it off a specific corpse or chest, or is there green text or a tell associated with it?

yep i get lots of mules w/ timers, from muling things out of chests

Perhaps it would be a good idea to add a check so that it never triggers when you pick up an item from a chest named 'Storage' ? That's more of a band-aid than a real fix (the real fix being more specific quest triggers), but it'd help...

7 days after the timer expires it goes away, i just ignore it

Yes, Digero, the shield and robe both are looted off a corpse as you work through the dungeon. The shield is looted off Shoktok; the robe is looted from Urleg.
