I tried to download Dereth Explorer tonight but kept getting errors. I suspect it may be something with the soon to be update but I could be wrong.


Anyone have an ingame map program? if not, anyone know when Dereth Explorer may be back up and running?

The author has to provide an updated memloc with each patch. He is kind of slow in doing this. I do not think he provided one for the March patch. See:

At least this way, I am not dependant on Decal or a plugin author. As long as the database is correct, it works.


As far as when the new version of Dereth Explorer is due to come out, no idea. It was stated on the 10th - it is coming. You could post a question on the support forum for Dereth Explorer.

The new version of Dereth Explorer is pretty much complete, I'm currently working on its manual and still have to polish up some graphics. A friend has been testing it for the past two weeks, seems to be working ok. I was hoping to release the program last weekend, but RL kicks in all the time


I'll see if I can find the memlocs for April tonight, shouldn't be much of a problem.


Ground-Zero: what kind of an error are you getting? I may be able to help out.

The error is:


The cabinet file '_C139A7136....a whole bunch of other numbers and letters.....' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.


I am sure it is something to do with my computer.

memlocs from last month are working for me.


Yula, you only need memlocs for dserv in-game tracking, not route finding.

Seems the file got corrupted when I uploaded it last week. Could you please try again to download it? Shoudl work properly now
