what to do?

You need to install:

Microsoft DirectX 9.0c

and Visual C++ Runtime Libraries


before installing Decal.


If you go to the Decal support web site there should be easy to find installation help and links to where to find these items.


If you have an official copy of Microsoft Windows, you can get DirectX 9.0c via Windows or Microsoft Update which you should be running any way to get the Microsoft security patches that come out second Tuesday of every month.


The Visual C++ run time libraries are probably in the Net Framework 2.0. I get my run time libraries as part of software development kits like Visual Studio, so I am not familiar with downloading and installing them by themselves. I think are also presented to you as optional components when you run Microsoft Update.

When installing both of thouse it asks me: please type the location where you want to place the extracked files.

where should i extrack em?

It should not be asking you where to extract to.


When you click on the link select - Save. When the download completes just run the installation package and follow the prompts.
