I think a nice improvement would be to add the option of grouping together timers that are a part of the same quest, such as all of the individual Walking Boots pieces under a collapsable 'Walking Boots' listing. The timer functionality wouldn't change, only the way it's displayed in the timer window.

This is similiar to what White Mage's Quest Timer did. Honestly, I didn't like going through the lists, trying to figure out what list a quest is part of.


One thing that I've been doing, is download a quest and edit it, then put a prefix on it (similiar to the Kill Master Quest that are already on the server). For example, the different parts of the Shadowfire Stone, I've added "Shadowfire Stone - " to the prefix.


just thinking about this a little more, it might be nice to have the option to put in a "Master Quest" input box, so you can associate one part of a quest with the master quest (i.e. belows pickup associated with aerlinthe), then you can display it like above on a webpage or something.

It's a good idea, but I don't intend to add new features to Quest Timer in the foreseeable future. My time is limited and I'd like to work GoArrow and on other plugins that I haven't updated for ToD yet. The quest name prefixing that yaroz mentioned works pretty well at keeping related quests grouped together.
