I don't know why yet, but when these three get together, they gulp down all the beers on my character when I hit the 'H' key I have setup in DHS for Alinco to heal me. Arrgh!


I'll try to pin this down a bit better but I think El Tank is the culprit - it takes all three of these running to replicate this.

EDIT: Running just El Tank and Agent Z causes this to spam endlessly as it drinks all my beers:

I copy/pasted a known good Settings XML, made 3 copies and replaced all 3. In this XML all HUDS are off and usebeers = false, but as soon as I log in I get the above behaivor, PLUS the 'On' button for the main HUD fl;ashes on and off. No DHS hotkeys are assigned to Agent Z except Ctrl=H for 'Toggle All HUDS'. This only happens when El Tank is 'on'. Weird. Next up is a clean install of Decal and all plugins.


EDIT 2: Yep, hitting the Pause key in order to start El Tank also makes Agent Z drink up all the beers AND toggles Agent Z's HUDS on. Odd.

The message its spamming is the one it sends when you use the hotkey to toggle the "use beers". It would appear to me that something is triggering the hotkey. But since that would just drink one beer each, it would seem the hotkey for drink all beers is getting triggered aswell. Toggling the main hud on and off is also a hotkey.


As far as I know, it is simply responding to messages sent via DHS. I don't run tank, but I dont know how it could be affecting it like that. I'll try to look into it more.

I agree, however, the only DHS hotkey I have associated with Agent Z is the above-mentioned Ctrl+H used to toggle HUDS on/off. It is the H key AND the Pause key that is causing the trouble, somehow they have become mapped to Agent Z in the background even though they aren't mapped in DHS.


I think I have a corrupt install of Agent Z on my system and will test the clean install when the worlds come up later today.


Thinking out loud - could there be a problem with Decal/DHS when you map 'Ctrl+H' AND just 'H' to different functions? i.e would the same hold true for mapping 'Alt+P' and 'P' to two different functions?

DHS currently has issues. If a hotkey isn't bound to any key, then it can be incorrectly triggered by messages (I think simulated keypresses) that some plugins send to AC; El Tank being one plugin that seems to send those messages. The workaround for now is to disable (uncheck) all hotkeys in DHS that you don't use, and be sure that all enabled hotkeys are bound to some key sequence.

I would like nothing more than to delete all DHS hotkeys that I am not using. However, on the next login (or perhaps the next launch of Decal) after I do this, it populates the list again with all possible hotkeys.
