I can get it to run on my older desktop, but my new one, and the laptop i just cannot get it to work.


i've installed, un-installed, cleaned the registry, all to no avail, short of re-installing AC I'm at a loss on what to do.


btw when i say it won't run i mean, its there in the system tray, but in AC nothin.

i have a strong feeling that the laptop just can't do it with the onboard video... but the desktop can do it...

install the latest version of ACDualClient, then run it once, and then uninstall it if you do not want it anymore.

d'you know what the reasoning is that one needs to run acdc in order to get decal in game?

you were using the old ACDCClient.exe which doesn't work with the newer Decal versions. The latest does, and it also REMOVES the ACDCClient.exe from the launcher.ini when it exits.. so you don't have to run ACDualClient to get Decal to work, but reather it is a "cleanup" measure that is easier for many people than editing the launcher.ini manually and changing them all back properly to their default values.
