Does LifeTank auto pick up rares?

with looting option on, will LTX automatically detect and pick up rares without the rare being in my list of items to pick up?
The more I learn about LTX the more I enjoy using it.

IIRC, rares are autopickup no matter if loot is on or not. We thought it a good idea at the time =)
