I can't figure out how to get Alinco to detect weapons that have no wield requirements. I tried creating a new rule with a wield of 0 but it doesn't work. It also doesn't work if you leave the wield field blank. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I believe the plugin is designed to look for a quantifiable value that does exist. I haven't had the chance to test anything yet, but think maybe a value of -1 or ‚nnn might trigger detection.

Whoops, guess the boards don't like ASCII characters. The block character should have been the "not equal to" symbol. Try <> or != instead.

wouldn't you just "check" the last option on the weapons menu? (the scale of wield reqs, isn't the bottom one "0"?)

or is that what you're saying is currently not functional? (I'm not at home and haven't tried to detect no-wield req items)

HamlitTheHeartseeker,

I couldn't get those ideas to work but thanks for the input.

quren_mt,

The rules don't go all the way down to 0 (no-wield) unfortunately.
