I can set it to imp and vuln up to a range of 9 but beyond that it stops.

are you changing your vuln and attack range?? i found when i changed my attack range i was imping just fine... might work for you maybe i just got lucky

Yes. imp range comes under attack range and is seperate from the vuln range.
