I made a few plugins for Decal (never released, just personal ones that I made a long time ago for myself and a few guildies) many years ago.


I didn't expect any of them to work, but to be pretty good guidelines for making a new plugin based on today's Decal. Unfortunately, it seems that Decal has changed so much, that the plugin doesn't work at all anymore (not even partially), and most of the logic doesn't even seem valid (mainly I'm looking at the ipluginsink command that no longer works, and according to my comments, that's how things are relayed out to the chat window).


Anyhow, what I'm looking for, is does someone have a new version of a "MyPlugin" file for VB6 that outlines the main commands? If not, anyone out there that can point me in the right direction for VB6 on how to relay out to the chat window without using ipluginsink?

I wanted to thank you again for posting that link. That was EXACTLY what I was looking for, a nice little jump start to get me back on track with making a plugin for Decal.


I have a working plugin (mind you, it doesn't do much yet, but it's a great start, and everything I've been trying to do so far has worked).
