LTX will show up as an option in the Decal menu when AC loads up... but when I try to buff with it or turn on the macro it says it could not authenticate.


So, I typed in that '/lt auth server 1' (2 or 3) thing and it says it got no response from Auth server


I also do not have any type of firewall up.


Decal and LTX are both fresh installs after a Reformat. Castaway is also a fresh install and it is working fine.

Morning sounds like maybe your running Vista now. Lifetank does not work with Vista 64 bit yet but does work with Vista 32 bit. Here is the link form the lifetank forum to get the 32 bit Vista working. Hope this helps.

i logged on today and downloaded the patch, and when i logged in i got this same error.i run XP, i redownloaded LTX 7.11 rev 2 and reinstalled. no help.


what is the current version of decal now? decal 3 seems to update itself now, if i remember corectly...

i do need to update my video drivers, they are fresh off the install cd but im sure thats not where my issue is coming from, right?

I went into add remove programs and removed everything decal/plugin related...there was some OLD stuff in there. redownloaded alpha 8, installed and all is fine.
