Ok, so I know this is programmed by different people now. There are TONS of settings that Lifetank 2 had (version that wasn't released to the public) that arent in LT XI. Maybe I am wrong, as I havent played in years, but I remember there being options to use Drain spells, instead of just Revit.


I am assuming there is a lot of things Spax did not release when he released the source code, but if anyone has any idea on this, or if I just cannot find it for some stupid reason, help would be awesome.


Also, thanks to all the guys who took over this program. Spax was a genious with this stuff, LT2 made ElTank look like an ACTool Drain macro.

There is not much point in using a drain any more. Turbine changed the way drains work. Now if you try to drain and your health pool is full all you do is burn components and use mana. You can only drain from a mob enough health to fully restore you or the maximum allowed based on the spell used and the current health of the target. Turbine put caps on the absolute amount you can drain.


What might work would be offensive life magic. Perhaps they could program lifetank to start with a Hectatomb. Followed by a drain or heal depending on what the current health of the mob is.

Sounds to me he wants to revit with them not attack , a level 3 drain gives you up to 100 points and casts quicker then lvl 7 health self.

Exactly. I am only level 37 right now, I survive fine with just revit/stam to mana, but if it could drain say a tusker with Drain Stamina 1, once or twice, stam to mana would be MUCH MUCH more effective. Healing is not a problem, it is regaining mana.


Draining doesnt work well for killing things (obviously)...they nerfed drain macroing a long time ago...bad move on their part. But for healing/mana it works awesome.

Warbot uses drains.

Yea the Life drain nerf sucked balls. I had made a character that was dependent on the drain(life spec only at the time). That nerf is what made me stop playin AC for awhile.
