Is there any way to get the trade bot to advertise in the trade channel instead of open chat? I have tried using /trade and /ct before my advertisement and also tried turning on tell to trade from the chat box, but every message just goes to open chat. Any help would be great.

This has come up before- it's not possible for the simple reason, it would be exceptionally annoying. Personally, I squelch any bot advertising anything on a global channel on sight, and a lot of people feel the same way.


Darktide's a different story however, as it's pretty much the ONLY way to advertise, but as far as I know, no bot program caters for this.

yeah, it was for a DT bot, i notice a few bots advertising over trade channel, its the only way to really let em know where your located. Guess i'll just setup an ACTool macro on a 10 minute loop.
