Don't change resolutions while having decal on. Also don't maximize or minimize w/decal on. Also don't change from fullscreen to window mode with decal on. This will help alleviate alot of crashes. However, there is still a bug. It is decal based and there are claim it's really the "object unloaders" that cause it. No one really knows is what the answer is! Otherwise I think we would have had a fix by now.

I have the same problem. For me, once I crash, I will get a huge box, looks like I am 640X480 resolution, telling me that Decal has failed (close enough). I then hit close, start up AC again. I will "usually" get another error message, but this tme, the box will be the correct size for my screen resolution. The 3rd time I try to log in will be fine.

Thanks for the info.. I have been dealing with this for a while so I decided to ask. Usualy I get the screwy off-res desktop then I can relogin again ok. I tell you if I didn't have dual client logging me in with the push of a button I would have gone nuts long ago.
