Is there a way to run decal without the windows installer 3.0? I miss decal, but the way this computer was built, i am unable to update windows anything. Please let me know if there is a way. ty

correct. my ex put it together piece at a time. I am unable to update anything from microsoft. When I try to download the windows installer, it acts like it is, until it goes to install then says the install could not be completed. I asked my ex about this and he said i would have to reload windows and get the os number from him which hes not willing to give lol sounds like im screwed.

Yeah.... I'd run Super Anti-Spyware and/or Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and make sure you don't have anything on the system that shouldn't be there.
Either your version of windows is illegal, or you have a virus of some sort.
