ok I downloaded the windows script 5.6 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=c717d943-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&languageid=f49e8428-7071-4979-8a67-3cffcb0c2524& displaylang=en since the plugin im trying to use requires it I guess.

anyways, after I install it and install the update for it, my computer starts to mess up.
Now I know that its this MS script 5.6 since ive done multiple restores on my comp and got it down to this.

After its installed, some of my programs that I have running shut down mysteriously after like 5 seconds of being started, such as AIM, and Vuze. I am guessing this script 5.6 is conflicting with my system some how, but I have no clue.

I am running windows XP SP3 media center, not sure what other info is needed to help out.

Anyone have any info about this?

Spies, and probably lifetank since its listed as a pre req. but I dont use lifetank


when I try and use spies IG, everything works, except the buffing tabs (thats without the MS script installed)

works fine after I install it, except for the fact that normal programs unexpectedly close
