I had DC running on another HD using Win2K but that drive succumbed to a virus and was removed.

My new HD is again running Win2k with all service pac updates and security patches but when installing Dual Client, I recieve the error that .Net Framework 1.1.4 is missing and needs to be installed.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the .Net files too many times to count, the program has always showed up in control panel installed programs list, but Decal does not see it installed.

Suggestions?

Thanks

which .net there is 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1.5

if you have 2.1 or 3.1.5 installed THAT won't work. Programs are built against/with a particular .net framework and thus NEED that .Net installed. thus on most comptuers you will see 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 all installed that way programs that need 2.1 can use that, and ones (like AC-DC) can use the 1.1

Decal plugins use .NET 2.0, ACDC uses .NET 1.1. You need both.

Here is 1.1:

And here is 2.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en

Both run fine on Win2k...I know because that's what I use. Good for you, picking the best version of Windows available
