I was told by someone I might have problems getting decal to work with 64bit vista... Anyone running decal on that OS? Do I need to do anything special?

Im running decal on 64 bit vista.

i think the only thing to remember is once you have installed decal, you get an icon on your desk top.

right click it and run as administrator. then you can update decal.

dont have decal set to auto load on startup

Yep Vista thinks it's bad for programs in \Program Files to change on their own.

Just install in another directory no mater what version OS you have.

Can they be in there own sub-directories or does it have to be all in a base directory?

IE.
c:\games\asheron's call
c:\games\decal
c:\games\random plug-in

OR does it all have to be in
c:\games

??

I just installed it normal on my 64x laptop. It stuck it in /programfiles(x86)/decal ... not Program files. It needs to be run as administrator on any vista version if it's under either program files. Other than that no problems.

EDIT They can be in their own subdirectories.
