the installer @ http://downloads.sourceforge.net/skunkworks/SkunkWorks35-500.exe comes up as a virus. any help would be great. thank you in advance.

the sign up doesn't work there and as far as i can see its dead anyway. Anybody have a virus free copy of the installer? If you do pm me and I'll give you my email to send it.

Its upto you ofcourse but virus scanners have been known to be wrong, some even flag any unknown .exe files as a virus leaving it upto users and software authors to question it and/or send them the file for further analesys.

Exactly! Additionally, the sign up worked for me, so I am not sure what happened when you tried, I would recommend trying again. Furthermore, the Skunkworks forum are far from dead, the last post on them was from the Skunkworks author on the 25 July 09. Any issues/questions I have posted on the forum have received a response within a day (if not hours) of posting.
