Hi i've posted the perfstringbackup into C:\Windows\system32 and ran lodctr /rerfstringbackup.ini and still no luck any help would be apreciated. i had this porblem a few weeks back but i was able to fix it doing this i was wondering if i am missing any thing?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. During the installation it pops up a box that will enable counters for you.

or your counters are corrupt and you need to repair them

ya i've tried to reinstall but i think my countiers are corrupt. as far as i can tell i've followed all the directions i dl'd the back up file u posted,perfstringbackup.ini, put in windows/system32 and then ran lodctr /rerfstringbackup.ini, when i run tht i bring up a msddos window really quick then i get, error in lanchAc().... maybe


i have a laptop set up same set up i was wonder where i could find the old process counters?
