Does anyone know if anyone ever made some kind of plugin to relay ingame chat to say an IRC server or to a webpage or something similar.
Looking to provide realtime or near realtime chat logs of ingame chat for those that aren't ingame.
Namely myself, so I can read and keep up with /a and other ingame channels while at work and away from computer.

If it hasn't been done before... what resources would one suggest look at to make a customer plugin to do said functionality.

From what I can tell it only allows communication through private tells.
I'd like for something to spam an actual channel so multiple people can see what is going on ingame.
Course... I could be setting something up wrong in lifetank.

You gotta set up a password to let someone take control of your character


then in the IRC channel, PM the char IG with the takecontrol command and then it will start sending all chat info to the IRC


I do not know if other people in IRC will be able to see it though


make sure you filter/unfilter any unwanted chat though, in case you dont want to see all the trade and general chat spam

That works but only sends the communication to the person in control of the macro.
Looks like I'll need to write a custom IRC script to relay all the chat to a channel which should resolve the matter.
