what's the problem? i uninstalled decal today because it's been crashing my game a lot recently, go to re-install and it just hangs at downloading direct x. i don't need direct x, why can't i just install the damn program? the site is down so i can't install decal? not intelligent thinking right there

To update manually with the new memlocs I am sure we need to do something peculiar. I just can't remember what...

Have you tried the DecalUtil.exe in the Decal folder? It's whole purpose is to do the memloc's outside of the button inside Decal itself.
