my video card went out a few months ago, but i think decal stopped working before then. Anyways, when i try to load ac after selecting the world, the black screen pops up, and ac kinda locks up and stops working. Tried almost everything it seems.
any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

which os, build what ever doesn't sound like XP more like vista or win7

may need to indicate if it's 32 or 64bit OS of either of those two.

Didn't see anything obvious, so my question would be IF it is either of those two OS's where did you install Decal/LTx too and are you running them as/under Admin privilges?

What the heck is that? It's not a Decal component, but it is labeled 2.9.6.0. Seems a little fishy to me.
