Hello,

I'm having some problems with my alinco3 Plugin. Every so often my alinco3 will delete all my settings and reset to default setting. I'm not doing anything differently but it keeps doing it. Is there anyway to save my settings? or prevent this from happening again? I'm running 4-6 Accounts with dual log if that has anything to do with it.


Another question i had is with the Inventory scanner. How do i properly use it? Do i click all, then click update to add/update a chars. items? or do i just log on the char. and hit the update button? Also, does it produce an xml. file somewhere?


If someone could help me out with these two things that would be great, thanks to everyone who posts.

Just thought of another question i had.


How do you keep Alinco from looking junk bows/Xbows/TW.


Say for instance you wanted to loot bows that were 130% +16 damage but didn't care about the melee d mod. But if you leave the melee d blank or lower it, It picks up bows with junk mods & damage but have low melee d mod's. But if you raise it to the max, Then it wont loot a bows that are 130% +16 with a melee mod of 10 Because its set to max.


So is there anyway to do this? Or is it either only fully max or hope to get a fully max one with still looting all the junk one?

I've had Alinco3 delete all of my settings as well. I'm thinking that's something to do with logging toons in and out too fast. Also possibly trying to log toons on different accounts in and out at the same time. Or a combination of both. But that's just a guess. However, you can save the settings and I highly recommend that anyone running Alinco to do so. In your documents folder, there should be a Decal Plugins folder and in that you'll find the Alinco3 folder that you just need to copy to somewhere else in case you lose your settings again.

I haven't played around with the inventory too much. It seems really flaky to me, but maybe I just wasn't doing it right. As far as I know, it was log into the character and then hit the update button. As far as where it stores that data, there is an Inventory folder in the Alinco3 folder that I previously mentioned. There also seems to be an Inventory.xslt file in the same folder that has y character settings. That's about as much help as I am with that, though.

Not sure on your bow question. It should be looting based on a match to all 3... so say if you lower one, it will still need to meet the requirement of the other two. I don't recall off the top of my head what mine are set at, but I haven't noticed any problems. I may look through the settings later to see if I notice anything that you might be able to try.

That's good to know about saving the alinco settings because two of my friends have had the same problems so they will be happy to hear this. I already thought that's what mite be causing it to delete the settings. (logging in and out fast on multiple chars) So your the second person to say that.


The inventory thing is a little flakey imo also. The method you stated is the same why I've been doing it, but again sometimes it wouldn't update some chars. or it would remove some etc. Thanks very much for your input. Does anyone know if the creator of alinco3 still is active on the boards? Maybe he knows the answers to these questions.


Does anyone know if there is like an actual walk threw on how to use the alinco3 plugin? Like for instance, the "Quest Timers" plugin has a walk-threw on the plugin website showing you how to use every feature etc.

Slayer, Alinco has a bug that causes it to loot junk bows/xbows/tw's. Once you set the stats for the bows you want to loot, you will have to ID each bow that was looted to see if it was a hit for your criteria or if it was bug looted.
